Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Estonia were established on April 6, 1992.
The Consulate General of Belarus in Tallinn was opened in March, 1992. Opened in July 1995 in Minsk the Consulate General of the Republic of Estonia was upgraded to the Estonian Embassy in Minsk in October, 2009.
Belarus considers Estonia as an important European partner and aims to build equal and mutually beneficial relations with the country.
